What exactly is the program?

The month of October I used to run a Sober October Group and this year I have been made aware that many people need a program this time of year to get back into better habits but the idea of Sober October scared them off.  So I have altered it to be more inclusive!

While I do still recommend avoiding alcohol for the month it is optional.  I only ask that any one who is not avoiding it please do not post or comment about it in the group at all.  This is to be a purely supportive space.  

We will focus on nourishing our bodies with whole foods, and supporting our body's natural detoxification systems so that we get everything running the way it should be and ditch that sluggish feeling! 

The program will work on reducing the foods and drinks that take more form our bodies than they give us, leaving us depleted and tired.  I call these detractors.  

Without needing to process junk and alcohol, your liver can focus on its other jobs, like breaking down other toxins produced by the body, metabolizing fats and excess hormones that need to be broken down.​​

Every week is laid out for you.  Just follow along!

 

Most recipes are gluten, dairy and sugar free (or very easily made to be)  Don't worry if you usually eat these things you won't even miss them with all the goodness packed in!

Weekly Check In

Weekly check in forms to keep track of how great you're doing and see all your improvements.

This helps to keep you accountable, to help see the changes and benefits you're experiencing and to keep you motivated!

This is where the guts of the program are (meal plans, forms, where you would msg me etc) and also includes a food journal to keep track of what you're eating and how it made you feel. This is incredibly helpful when trying to sort things out.
